Follow Isa

Walk in His Way

You have read the Injil. You have seen the signs, the teachings, the cross, the resurrection, and the call. The question now is no longer, “Who is Isa?” The question is, “What will you do about him?”

The message of the Injil is not only to be understood. It is to be believed, obeyed, and followed. This page is about response, new life, and the decision to follow Isa.

Following Isa does not require you to abandon your family, your people, or your cultural identity. It calls you to go deeper: to truly submit to Allah with understanding and sincerity.

Remain among your family. Remain among your community. Continue to honour your identity. But let your understanding be shaped by the Injil: who Isa is, what he has done, and what Allah now calls you to do.

This is not a change of culture. It is a change of heart, direction, and obedience. Click each heading below to expand or collapse the sections.

1. Hear the message

Understand clearly what Allah has done through Isa the Messiah.

2. Make your response

Repent, believe, and be baptised. Do not stay in the middle.

3. Begin your new life

Read, obey, pray, gather with believers, and tell others what you learn.

4. Help others follow

Following Isa does not stop with you. It is meant to spread.

What has Allah done?

Read the Scripture:

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of Allah. (Romans 3:23)
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of Allah is eternal life in Isa the Messiah our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
Allah demonstrates His own love toward us in this: while we were still sinners, Isa died for us. (Romans 5:8)
If you confess with your mouth that Isa is Lord and believe in your heart that Allah raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Isa died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, he was buried, he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and he appeared to بطرس (Peter), then the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom were still alive. (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)

This is the message of the Injil:

  • You have sinned and are accountable before Allah.
  • Sin brings death, separation, and judgment.
  • Isa died to deal with sin once and for all.
  • Allah raised him from the dead.
  • Forgiveness and eternal life are now offered as a gift.

You are not saved by trying harder, balancing your good deeds, or waiting for another sign. Allah has acted. Isa has come. The door is open now.

What must you do?

Read the Scripture:

Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptised every one of you in the name of Isa the Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (الروح القدس). For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” (Acts 2:37-39)
Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:15-16)

The response is clear and simple:

  • Repent - turn away from sin and turn to Allah.
  • Believe - trust Isa as Lord and Saviour.
  • Be baptised - publicly identify yourself with him.

This is not merely information to agree with. It is a call to surrender: to fully submit to Allah. The Injil does not invite you to admire Isa from a distance. It calls you to follow him.

The decision you must make

Isa does not leave people neutral forever.

  • You can receive him.
  • You can reject him.

But delay is not a safe middle ground. Delay is still a response. If you die undecided, then you are condemned just as much as if you had rejected him.

Do you believe that Isa is who the Injil says he is?

Will you turn to Allah and follow Isa now?

If the answer is yes, do not push this moment away. Respond to Allah honestly, and then take your next steps without delay.

Take action now

You do not need polished words. But you do need honesty. Speak to Allah now from your heart.

  • Admit your sin.
  • Turn away from it.
  • Ask for forgiveness.
  • Confess Isa as Lord.
  • Commit yourself to follow him.

Then take these next steps immediately:

  • Be baptised as soon as possible.
  • Read the Injil daily.
  • Obey what you learn.
  • Tell someone you love and care about what you have done.
  • Tell them what you are learning.

Real faith begins to move. It does not stay hidden forever.

Your new life starts here

Following Isa is not a one-time emotional moment. It is the beginning of a new life.

  • Walk in obedience.
  • Learn his teachings.
  • Pray and ask Allah to change you.
  • Meet with other believers when possible.
  • Live differently in your home, speech, habits, and priorities.

The Holy Spirit does not simply comfort you. He changes you, leads you, and gives you power to live a new life.

What does this new life look like?
  • You begin to obey what Isa teaches.
  • You bring your speech, habits, relationships, and priorities under Allah.
  • You learn to pray honestly and daily.
  • You seek other followers of Isa when possible.
  • You pass on what you receive.
Do not keep this to yourself

The way of Isa is not only to receive. It is also to pass on.

  • Share what you are reading.
  • Share what you are obeying.
  • Share what Allah is showing you.
  • Help your family and friends hear the Injil too.

One of the clearest signs of new life is that you begin to care about others hearing the truth. What you receive, pass on.
